Summer with Mendelsohn

Danish Alva Holm, born in 2000, won the prestigious music competition Polstjärnepriset as a 16-year-old and earlier this year also the Royal Academy of Music's Solistpriset competition. Here, she performs as a soloist in Felix Mendelssohn-Bartholdy's Violin Concerto in E minor, one of classical music's priceless masterpieces. It is music with outstanding melodic beauty and it should suit a violinist who has been praised for her warm and expressive tone.
