Southnord UP NEXT 2024

Southnord's UP NEXT open call focuses on young artists. This year's winner is Lidiya Solomon! Ethiopian-born and based in Norway, Lidiya's work delves into themes of displacement, identity, and diaspora. Her art reflects the refugee journey, using found materials to preserve memories. Curated by Kihwa-Endale, a Korean-Ethiopian artist, the exhibition opens on 5 September 2024, coinciding with Southnord's first anniversary.
