Lawrence Abu Hamdan is an artist and audio investigator, or as the artists describe it, a ‘private ear’. Abu Hamdan’s work explores ‘the politics of listening’ and the role of sound and voice within the law and human rights. His audio investigations have been used as evidence at the UK Asylum and Immigration Tribunal and as advocacy for organizations such as Amnesty International and Defence for Children International together with fellow researchers from Forensic Architecture.
