November 1st is The Viking Museum's annual Alfablot (Elven sacrifice), one of the most important sacrificial rituals of the year during the Viking Age, where we honor our deceased ancestors. The blot starts with a themed tour of the exhibition at 15.30 and ends with a Viking Age-inspired ceremony and song outside the museum. If you want to join the guided tour you have to pay admission to the museum. It’s also possible to only participate in the blot, which is free and starts at 16.00.
