There is a regular boat, Bullerölinjen (timetables at www.battaxi.se) The island is a nature and bird preserve with many nice bays and rocks to swim from. The island belonged to Swedish artist Bruno Liljefors for many years, and his old guest cottage and studio have been preserved. Many other artists, such as Anders Zorn and Albert Engström, often visited Bullerö. There are is a hostel and a sauna on the island but no restaurant or grocery store.",
