This is Stockholm
Modernity meets tranquility. Trend-setting restaurants and vibrant nightclubs next to idyllic archipelago. Welcome to a city where it is easy to breathe – and to feel your pulse.
Back in 1901 - when Stockholm’s infrastructure was in dire need of modernization - many of the old buildings along Hornsgatans southern side were leveled to make room for a wider street and tram rail. The hump along the western side, called Horsgatspuckeln, is what’s left of the old street.
Today, Hornsgatspuckeln is famous for its many listed historical buildings and high concentration of art-galleries. It’s also only a short walk away from Monteliusvägen, arguably one of the best viewing spots in all of Stockholm.
