Tee up on your vacation!

Tee up on your vacation!

There are few places in the world where you can tee off at five in the afternoon and still see the ball four hours later. It’s possible here, thanks to the light summers in the Nordic countries. You’ll find the best light on the East coast, which has the highest number of sunny days in Sweden. Stockholm and its environs are also home to some of the best golf courses in the country, many of them located by palaces, lakes and bays on the archipelago.

Unlike in many other other countries, most Swedish clubs don’t require membership – the green fee will suffice. Many golfers reserve tee time through their travel agents, but it’s usually possible to make a reservation with the clubs directly. There are also convenient packages through services such as www.golfdestinationstockholm.se, a partner of the Stockholm Visitors Board.

Here are some suggestions for visitors!
