Svartsö

One of the largest of the mid-archipelago islands. There is a country store at Ahlsvik’s jetty and nearby Svartsö Krog has its own jetty. Rent a bike or walk and then cool down at one of the island’s inland lakes. The inhabitants of Svartsö get their drinking water from Storträsk, the largest of these lakes. In Skälvik you will find Svartsö Herrgårdspensionat, a summer villa from the early 1900s that is now a guesthouse and restaurant. There are also cottages for rent.
