I was writing a city tour guide on Skansen that i first encountered the word 'Aquarium'. To my amazement I found that this has nothing much to do with the marine life but a number of land-based animals are also present here.
The name aquarium is deceiving because the stars of this attraction, at least for me, are the lemurs and the meerkats. The lemur exhibit is like a butterfly atrium, but with lemurs. The meerkats are so close too! Just an increbile opportunity to be so close to these animals. Very glad I got a chance to see this!
