Hiking trails
Stockholm and the surrounding area have many good hiking trails through untouched nature with spectacular views and historic settings. There are day-long or several-day-long trails.
Sörmlandsleden
The Sörmlandsleden Trail extends 1,000 kilometers in Sörmland County south of Stockholm The trail’s 100 stretches offer various degrees of difficulty and are from 3 to 20 kilometers long. Several stretches are also handicap accessible.

Upplandsleden
The Upplandsleden Trail extends 350 kilometers in Uppland County north of Stockholm. You can reach the trail’s 17 stretches from connections in Stockholm or Uppsala. Hike along the inlets of Lake Mälaren in the south to the Dalälven River’s archipelago in the north over marshes, woodlands, and at the edges of farmland.

Roslagsleden
The Roslagsleden Trail extends 124 kilometers from Dandryd to Norrtälje north of Stockholm. The trail’s six stretches run along winding wooded paths and dirt roads. The stretch 3 project will lengthen Roslagsleden Trail to Grisslehamn.
