Hammarbybacken ski resort
A Stockholm landmark, Hammarbybacken is a popular weekend destination for many Stockholmers during the winter months. Near the Ericsson Globe Arena, the slopes are easy to reach on the Green Line metro toward Bagarmossen. There are four easy-to-ski downhill slopes, a snowboard park, ski school, equipment rental, and a café. The Park Inn Hotel Hammarby, “Stockholm’s first ski hotel,” is located at the foot of the slopes. The rest of the year, Hammarbybacken is open for other activities including downhill cycling.
