Flickorna Helin Voltaire

Flickorna Helin Voltaire

A charming café in a secluded and leafy setting with a large and very popular selection of baked goods. The castle-like building is located along the pedestrian path on Djurgården, and it’s a splendid place for lunch or a coffee break between visits to Skansen, the Vasa Museum and other nearby attractions.

love at first sight - a fairy tale of a place

We accidentally happened on flickorna Helin Voltaire when walking in the beautiful area across from Nordiska museet. Sadly, it was only 30 minutes or so before closing time. However, we had just enough time to grab a pastry and coffee to eat on the terrace. The girls were friendly, and the interior of this castle like building is magical. A cozy café with little decorative lights and a fire place. I was immediately struck with a pang of grief that I live so far away and wouldn't be able to make many return visits. Our pastries and coffee were delicious. When I'm back in Stockhom, I will made a b-line for this spot.

very tasty cakes

a very small place with only a few tables but reasonable prices and really tasty pastries. (they also offer soy milk as an alternative to regular milk)
