Icebar Stockholm by Icehotel

The planet’s first permanent ice bar, made of ice from the world-famous Icehotel in Jukkasjärvi, Lapland. Everything except the liquids in the drinks is made of ice, and the temperature is kept at a constant 23 degrees Fahrenheit.

Worth seeing

Like all tourist destinations you pay a premium to get in, but it's usually worth seeing. We went to the Ice Bar twice and tried the loganberries & vodka drink and a ginger & vodka drink. Both were tasty and the parkas make for a good laugh! I would recommend not wearing flip flops -- cold toes are a good reason to leave!

I thought it was fun - TWICE

Yes, I agree with the other two postings that it is an expensive treat, but I thought it was fun. The first time I was alone, and even though I felt a bit intimidated by the crowd, I still had a good time and my friends back home in Chicago enjoyed hearing about it. The second time I was with my Partner who REALLY enjoyed it and had three different flavored drinks during our 40-minute visit. In spite of the expense, it's unique and fun.
